An equestrian’s MOSAIC Dream come true! Barbara, a resident at Azura Memory Care of Clinton, had her MOSAIC dream realized this past month at the Three Gaits Therapeutic Horsemanship Center in Stoughton. Last year, Barbara shared with her Azura family that her dream and personalized moment of joy would be to be around horses again.
The Azura MOSAIC Dreams Program took this information and reached out to Three Gaits, who welcomed Barbara to come to their farm to engage with and meet their wonderful therapy horses. The ride to the farm, provided by the Clinton Senior Center, was full of joyful anticipation and singing!
The Three Gaits team welcomed Barbara to the center and started her dream day off by leading her and her Azura entourage to the barn to meet Nora, a beautiful Norwegian Fjord. Nora and Barbara became fast friends as Barbara petted and brushed her and gave Nora her favorite treats. Barbara then got a tour through the stables and met some of the other horses on the farm. Dena, Executive Director at Three Gaits, had Barbara engaged throughout the entire visit; discussing past memories, different facts about the horses, and the special care they provide to their horses.
It was apparent in all of the smiles seen on Barbara’s face during the trip that she was truly living her MOSAIC Dream. A huge thank you to Three Gaits, the Clinton Senior Center, and the Azura of Clinton team for helping to make this day a reality!

"We want to thank you for the loving special care you took of our mother, Diane. It was truly mom's home and you all became part of our family. Everything was home for her....from the beautiful rooms, large sunny windows all around, good food made with love, fun and personal activities from people who really loved our mom. We would highly recommend your facility to anyone. The staff from the director, to the doctor, to the nurse, to the caregivers and the maintenance man were all extremely helpful, caring, loving and professional. There are not enough words to say how much we appreciate all of you. Your exceptional care, kindness, and love were beyond anything we could have imagined. You were part of our family, and we will miss you." - Gail Sommers and Deborah Guse
