Did you know that Azura Memory Care has an extensive educational database of community and professional presentations? Our Team is happy to provide information on everything from “What is Dementia” to “Communication Tips for Caregivers” to “Living a Positive Life!”
Each year Azura Memory Care donates hundreds of hours to providing educational presentations to community organizations like Kiwanis, Rotary, Retired Worker groups and at their local Senior Centers. In addition, thanks to the advanced dementia training that Azura has developed through its exclusive MOSAIC program we are often asked by other assisted living, memory care and long-term care homes to provide training to their staff, family and friends.
In fact, this May Azura’s own Paula Gibson, Regional Director of Communications and Engagement will be presenting at the statewide conference of Alzheimer’s Association. Her presentation Engaging Behaviors One Moment at a Time, is based off of Azura’s MOSAIC training and engagement program and provides attendees with a better understanding of the underlying causes of behaviors or expressions and will teach attendees how to engage them in personalized activities to enhance care and quality of life.
Our goal is to transform the culture of memory care and we don’t mean just within our walls, but within our communities, State and beyond. Click here to get additional information on the different presentations available and find out how you can book an Azura presentation today!
"We want to thank you for the loving special care you took of our mother, Diane. It was truly mom's home and you all became part of our family. Everything was home for her....from the beautiful rooms, large sunny windows all around, good food made with love, fun and personal activities from people who really loved our mom. We would highly recommend your facility to anyone. The staff from the director, to the doctor, to the nurse, to the caregivers and the maintenance man were all extremely helpful, caring, loving and professional. There are not enough words to say how much we appreciate all of you. Your exceptional care, kindness, and love were beyond anything we could have imagined. You were part of our family, and we will miss you." - Gail Sommers and Deborah Guse
