Did you know that November is National Caregiver Month? Please join us in thanking our caregivers this month by nominating them for a Core Value Award!
There are three ways to submit your nomination:
Recently a family from our Azura Memory Care of Wausau home wrote a beautiful submission, which was a immediately shared with the Team.
My Father James was a resident at the Wausau home, until November 4th when he passed away. I can’t even put into words how much appreciation and gratitude our family has for the staff there. He was not an easy resident to take care of with his Lewey Body Dementia it brought on a lot of combativeness and inappropriate behaviors for him.
They always treated him with dignity and respect. They were very supportive to all of us when we visited him. Many of the staff have expressed how much they will miss his smile. They were able to see that from him in spite of all the negative. They all truly are special people!
Caregivers tend to be unappreciated for all that they do. On behalf of myself and my family I’d like to nominate the entire Wausau staff for a Core Value Award!
They deserve this special recognition for November National Caregiver Month. They certainly gave us peace of mind knowing that our Dad was getting the best care possible.
Thank you and God bless all of you.
"We want to thank you for the loving special care you took of our mother, Diane. It was truly mom's home and you all became part of our family. Everything was home for her....from the beautiful rooms, large sunny windows all around, good food made with love, fun and personal activities from people who really loved our mom. We would highly recommend your facility to anyone. The staff from the director, to the doctor, to the nurse, to the caregivers and the maintenance man were all extremely helpful, caring, loving and professional. There are not enough words to say how much we appreciate all of you. Your exceptional care, kindness, and love were beyond anything we could have imagined. You were part of our family, and we will miss you." - Gail Sommers and Deborah Guse
