These Visitors Can’t be BLEAT!

The assisted living residents of Monroe meet baby goats!Pictured above are Ethel Moritz and Germaine Metz sharing a goat.

Twin baby pigmy goats recently visited Azura Memory Care of Monroe. The goats are 3 weeks old, baby soft and super snuggly. The residents spent hours holding, petting and just loving them.  Some even suggested that we keep them and raise them at Azura Memory Care of Monroe!  When the goat owners were asked just what made them decide to bring in the goats, they replied, “Everyone brings in dogs and cats, so we wanted the residents to experience something many of them probably had on their own farms growing up.”   Many residents reminisced about their childhood, so it was a great interactive time for everyone. Smiles were literally everywhere.
