At Azura Memory Care we believe in the power of hiring and RETAINing the finest employees and there is no other way to describe Michael Brooker, Team Lead at our Kenosha South home.
Michael has been involved in the Memories in the Making painting program within our home and makes it a point every week to sit down with at least 4 residents to paint and unveil a master piece of memories.
The Memories in the Making program requires specialized training by the Alzheimer’s Association, which Michael helped to set-up, attend and has gone on to assist others in the participating in the program too. Michael values the creations by our residents so much that he has had many of them framed for display around our house.
We are so blessed to have Michael as part of our Azura family and hope to RETAIN him for many years to come!
"We want to thank you for the loving special care you took of our mother, Diane. It was truly mom's home and you all became part of our family. Everything was home for her....from the beautiful rooms, large sunny windows all around, good food made with love, fun and personal activities from people who really loved our mom. We would highly recommend your facility to anyone. The staff from the director, to the doctor, to the nurse, to the caregivers and the maintenance man were all extremely helpful, caring, loving and professional. There are not enough words to say how much we appreciate all of you. Your exceptional care, kindness, and love were beyond anything we could have imagined. You were part of our family, and we will miss you." - Gail Sommers and Deborah Guse
